Wands correspond to Clubs in a regular deck of cards. Their Greek element is earth. They stand for everything earth-bound and concrete. In the four classes of feudal society, this suit is linked to that of agriculture, the peasants.

Wands are the Tarot suit that corresponds to Clubs in an ordinary pack of cards. Sometimes called Rods, Staves, Batons, or Sticks.  

Wands are the suit most closely associated with spring,  fire, and energy. 

Wands represent growth and inspiration, ambition, competition, ideas, motivation, will-power, creativity, energy, social vitality, desires, careers, movement, invention, innovation, ambition, initiative, competitiveness and the desire for power; 

They are often related to your career or your sense of purpose in the world, or business endeavors, but because of their connection to charm and desire, they can deliver strong love guidance and can also relate to endeavors in love and romance.  

In the four classes of feudal society, this suit is linked to that of agriculture, the peasants.  Wands represent the Rural Third Estate in feudal times consisting of Farmers and Peasants and therefore, Wands also represents nature, poverty and submission.

In general, literal people who are signified by the suit of Wands will have hair color that ranges from medium blonde to white and may include redheads of any type. In terms of skin or eye color they will tend to be fair skinned and may blush or sunburn easily. Eye color for this suit is variable. However this coloration guide will only be accurate about 70% of the time.
